Features
WiFi Network Connection
Rather than creating a radio frequency spectrum competing RF system of transmitters and repeaters with unpredictable results, WiFi based clocks leverage your initial or previous investment in your building’s existing network infrastructure. This WiFi based system allows technicians and support staff to use familiar diagnostic tools, equipment and training that proprietary RF systems don’t offer. National’s battery clocks connect to 802.11b/g/n WiFi using WPA, WPA2, and open networks. They support DHCP to ease setup effort and utilize SNTP services for time accuracy.
Monitoring Capability
Unlike most RF battery systems and competing WiFi clocks, National’s WiFi connection provides two-way communication. Not only can the connection status to the time service be monitored, so can the WiFi signal level, time synchronization check-in history, battery voltage and other settings. National’s exclusive TIMEWiSE Cloud Service provides these statistics to any PC or hand-held device with an internet connection. Take control and be proactive with your time system rather that wait for complaints from occupants that the clock is off time
Easy Setup
National Time has developed the WiFi Wizard setup interface. Using only a web browser on any WiFi enabled device, the user is led step-by-step through the fast setup process. Alternately, there are also android and iOs apps available. These apps will scan for nearby clocks, automatically download required settings, and verify connection to the selected SNTP time server.
Description
National Time has been manufacturing WiFi based clocks since 2009. We leveraged this knowledge and experience not only to create a digital clock with unsurpassed features but, is also the easiest to use.
Each clock has a built-in setup wizard making configuring it to your building’s WiFi network a fast and simple process. Configuration can be accomplished using a smart phone or laptop without the need to install any special software. Time synchronization can be provided by any SNTP time server on the internet, or local network.
National Time offers a local TiMEWiSE™ Supervision Server or the TiMEWiSE™ Device Cloud service. When using these National Time services, the connection, signal strength and other statuses of the clocks are monitored. The Supervision Server is a device on the local network eliminating the need for an internet SNTP server. The free TiMEWiSE™ Device Cloud service monitors clock statuses and synchronization history allowing a proactive approach to system maintenance.
National Time’s digital clock series has more features that benefit your organization than any other. National’s exclusive automatic dim feature that decreases the brightness to compensate for low ambient light levels associated with artistic and video productions. This not only provides a pleasant brightness level, but also saves energy during nighttime hours. Nine brightness levels may be selected to satisfy the brightest locations.
A class-change timer function is also supported. A popular option in K-12 schools—count down the time left until students become tardy between classes. Alternately, a count-up timer function can be selected for other custom applications. These events can be scheduled using the TiMEWiSE™ Supervision Server. A smart phone or laptop can also be used to control an elapsed timer or count-down timer. Add a durable metal housing to the long life epoxy filled digit segments and you won’t find better value. Available in both 2.25” and 4” wide bar digits that increase the visibility over clocks of comparable size. 6-Digit versions displaying hours, minutes and seconds are also available.

The OLED display behind each clock pro- vides easy setup and diagnosis. Quickly de- termine if the TimeCastTM signal and time data has been received. At a glance, determine the signal strength from the clock back to the base station, last check-in, number of peer clocks within range and other information. User buttons provide menu navigation and setting initial time and date if necessary. Clock settings such as brightness, auto-dim thresholds, time zone and test routines also utilize this easy to understand display.
Unique QR code at each clock directly links to the free NATSCO cloud service. Complete check-in history with signal strength and nearby clock information is displayed as well as product information and trouble shooting assistance.
A cost-effective base station is the beginning of your TimeCast™ system. This Power-over-Ethernet (POE) unit is small enough to mount wherever needed. For installations without POE, the unit can be powered with a 5VDC micro USB wall plug.
The easy to understand user interface with 4-line display makes setup a breeze. The LAN connection can use a local or internet SNTP time server to keep accurate time. A battery-less backup system can keep time during outages for over 10 days.
TimeCast™ signals are transmitted to all nearby clocks and is repeated by each clock for complete building coverage. All secondary clock information is gathered by the base station and stored locally or uploaded to the free National Time cloud service.

The National Time PS-3, PS-6, PS-12 Power Supplies are designed to compliment National Time's Master Clocks with low voltage digital and/or analog clocks. Each offers power limited transformer(s) with individual circuit breakers to allow less costly Class 2 wiring installations. Each transformer can supply 3.12A of 24VAC. For 2- wire clock systems, each transformer supports a clock circuit, while for 3-wire systems one transformer supplies 'run' power while another supplies the 'reset' power for a clock circuit. The power supplies may be converted to Remote Power Boosters with the addition of the optional PS-Relays. Each power supply is housed in a durable steel enclosure designed to match National Time's Master Clocks and create an integrated and attractive installation.

Description
The PS-DRIVER-2/15A output module provides general purpose solid state outputs to be used in conjunction with other National Time products to either add additional outputs or to enhance the performance of a standard relay output. “Zero-Cross” turn on technology greatly reduces inrush currents and contact arcing exhibited by standard relay type control circuits.
A standard MC100 Master Clock’s relay output performance may be enhanced with the addition of the PS-DRIVER-2/15A output module. When On-Demand resets are superimposed on an existing synchronous clock circuit, it is recommended to utilize this solid state output to eliminate the contact damaging arcing and high currents caused by high inductive loads like synchronous clock motors.
The 5 amp outputs share a common feed which may be either 120VAC or 24VAC depending upon the clock or auxiliary device requirements. The outputs are individually fused with standard glass fuses. The PS-DRIVER-2/15A module may be controlled with equipment by others since the outputs are controlled via two open-collector inputs of either AC or DC power with a wide operating range of 5 to 24 volts.
Mounting
When ordered as PS-DRIVER-2/15A Output module, the board comes mounted in a heavy gauge steel enclosure (9”L x 8”W x 4”H). Mounting holes are provided to mount an additional PS-DRIVER-2/5A-BO module to provide four outputs in the same enclosure.

More Details
The WeNC is an Internet/LAN based clock system and auxiliary circuit controller. The WeNC comes equipped with two 120VAC 500W solid state outputs. These outputs can be configured to control National Time's clocks as well as most popular clocks of other manufacturers. The outputs can also be used for auxiliary devices such as bells, chimes, tones etc. typically found in schools. The WeNC operates on any TCP/IP-based Ethernet network, and automatically synchronizes the clock system with any standard NTP or SNTP time server or with the official United States atomic clock time source in Boulder, Colorado. The WeNC automatically corrects for daylight savings time and power outages. The WeNC can be configured, programmed, and monitored from any PC on the LAN network through a standard browser interface and a dedicated PC is not required during normal operation. Multiple WeNCs can be utilized to synchronize multiple clock systems throughout a campus, city, district, and beyond.
