It shall be mounted in a 1-gang 11-gauge stainless steel wall plate with brushed finish. The plate shall feature a red mushroom push button switch. It shall include vandal-resistant screws and driver bit.

Description

The vandal-resistant SPST call switch, for use with intercom systems, features a one-gang heavy duty stainless steel wall plate with brushed finish. The heavy duty construction is ideal for installation in areas prone to vandalism and includes tamper-resistant screws and a compatible driver bit. For general purpose signaling and switching, activation is via a silver-tone push button.

The high compliance 4 inch driver shall be Lowell Model No. JR410. It shall be of the permanent magnet type having a paper cone with a treated cloth surround. It shall be capable of producing a uniform audible frequency response over the range of 67Hz-16kHz (±6dB) and 53Hz–20kHz (±8dB) with a dispersion angle of 170 degrees conical @2000Hz (–6dB). Average sensitivity shall measure 90.8dB (SPL at 1W/1M). Rated power rating shall be 15 watts RMS. The voice coil shall have a 1 in. diameter and shall operate in a magnetic field derived from a strontium ferrite (ceramic) magnet with 10 oz. nominal weight.Voice coil impedance shall be 8 ohms. The driver shall have a structurally reinforced stamped 20-gauge steel frame to maintain precise mechanical alignment and shall provide facilities for mounting a transformer. A&E Specifications

The enclosure for recessed installation of an 8" speaker shall be Lowell model 8XD4, which shall be fabricated of certified U.S. steel and have a white powder epoxy finish. It shall have a tapered 10" can diameter and 4" depth. It shall include a polyurethane foam disc. The enclosure shall feature one knockout (1/2") on top and four combination knockouts (1/2"–3/4") on sides spaced at 90-degree intervals.

This tile bridge distributes the weight of an 8 inch speaker assembly to the ceiling support system in a suspended 2'x 2' or 2'x 4' tile ceiling. A tile-bridge is often required by local building codes for safety reasons, as well as to reduce the potential of having unsightly sags in ceiling tile due to undistributed weight. This tile bridge can be used with or without a backbox, depending on local building codes and the style and weight of the speaker assembly.

The bridge shall be engineered to distribute the weight of an 8 inch speaker assembly to the ceiling support system in a 2'x 2' or 2'x 4' suspended tile ceiling. The bridge shall include provisions for seismic anchoring to accommodate code requirements
